At the very heart of the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center is a strong belief in the partnership among three key constituencies: education, business, and community. OHP has strong ties to all three. Since we partner with 14 school districts in five counties, we pride ourselves in being involved in each unique community.
Our EDUCATION partnerships begin with our partner schools from Auglaize, Champaign, Hardin, Logan, and Union Counties. Not only do students in grades 11 and 12 attend classes on our Main Campus, but we also host Satellite Programs in many of these school districts. We also have partnerships with many colleges in the area, which gives our high school and adult education students the opportunity to earn college credit while taking classes here.
Our BUSINESS partnerships help us provide real-world experiences for our students. Many local businesses, from privately-owned to large manufacturing companies, work in cooperation with OHP to provide internships, apprenticeships, advanced training to employees, refresher skills, and more. Our strong ties to business also benefit our programs through various sponsorship opportunities and generous donations to make programs and events happen.
Finally, our involvement in the COMMUNITY is overwhelming. Not only do our students and staff get involved in various community programs, but our campus is host to many community events, including the Top of Ohio Challenge and the Honda Homecoming. We also have beautiful banquet and meeting facilities on our campus for various groups and organizations to utilize. With our emphasis on technology, these locales are perfect for multimedia presentations and other events requiring the use of advanced technology. OHP values its educational, business, and community partnerships and would love to have your organization or business get involved!
