Program Description
This College Tech program is designed to prepare students for a career in engineering or architecture with an emphasis on design. Students develop skills in board drafting and basic computer aided drafting and design (CADD) application. Students learn 3-D modeling and computer programs such as AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop and Inventor. Students prepare blueprints for the house built each year by the Construction Trades Academy Students.

Post-Secondary Options
This program is operated jointly with Clark State Community College and Rhoades State College. Students receive college credit at these colleges for classes taken at Ohio Hi-Point. College Tech Prep Scholarships, ranging from $1,000-$1,200 per year, are available to students who attend these two colleges.
Students taking this program should enroll in a fourth year senior math course to prepare for their college program.
