Program Description
This program provides students with practical experience in the operation and repair of both industrial and agricultural equipment. They operate forklifts, agricultural tractors, small engines and semi-trucks. They diagnose and repair the equipment through various troubleshooting methods. Other major areas of study included drive trains, hydraulics, welding, electrical systems and brakes. Overhauling both small gas engines and large diesel engines highlights the year. This program has attained national Automotive Service Excellence (A.S.E) certification.

Post Secondary Options:
Students may continue their education in 2-year technical or community college diesel or automotive programs. Job placement through School-To-Work allows students to begin their career prior to high school graduation.
