Virtual Learning Academy

The Ohio Hi-Point Virtual Learning Academy (VLA) is a program of online classes for Ohio Hi-Point students and students in our 14 partner districts.

VLA offers students the opportunity to take courses 24/7 anywhere there is internet access. The courses are crosswalked with Ohio standards and students are able to use the courses for purposes such as: credit deficiencies, enrichment, scheduling conflicts, homebound for medical reasons, and a host of others.

For Ohio Hi-Point students, the cost of a seat license is $145 for an unlimited number of courses for a calendar year. The cost of one course is $70. Each course requires a monitoring teacher and this is provided for OHP students. For students within the 14 partner districts, the cost is $145 per course and the cost of the course and/or teacher is the responsibility of the student or the school district.
