16 chosen as next generation of Journeys bloggers
BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio – 16 students were selected to represent Ohio Hi-Point Career Center in the award-winning Hi-Point Journeys social media campaign for the 2010-2011 school year. Students applied to be part of the innovative campaign, which follows the students experiences at Ohio Hi-Point during the course of their school year through blogging, video and photographs and on various social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr. The website for the campaign is hipointjourneys.com.
“After the success of last year’s Hi-Point Journeys project, we wanted to expand it in terms of the number of students we follow and how we integrate technology with the website and through social media to give prospective students and parents, as well as the community, open access into the life of a student while at Ohio Hi-Point,” said Shane Haggerty, marketing and communications coordinator. “We are excited about next year’s crop of student bloggers and look forward to following each one of their journeys.”
