2025 CONVOCATION CEREMONY

We are so proud of our students and all they have achieved. We can't wait to celebrate this milestone with you!

A few important things to remember:

• All seniors are required to be in attendance at Ohio Hi-Point through May 21, 2025.

• To participate in Convocation, students must have fees paid, including any computer repair bills, meet all lab requirements, and be eligible to receive a Career-Technical certificate. Students should check with their lab instructors if there is any doubt about receiving a certificate. 

Senior Breakfast and Convocation Practice
Senior Breakfast and Convocation practice are Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

• Senior Breakfast is an activity for seniors and their instructors. Students will report to school as usual for attendance and breakfast will begin around 8:30 a.m. in the OHP Cafeteria.  

• Convocation practice will be held directly following the Senior Breakfast Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, 10:30 a.m. in OHP Meeting Rooms 1 and 2. Students must take part in practice in order to participate in the Convocation Ceremony. 

• At 11:30 a.m., all students will report to Campbell Hill for a senior photo and be released for the remainder of the school day. No lunch will be served.

• Students may wear dressier clothes that are school appropriate for Senior Breakfast, lab awards, and Convocation practice.

2025 Convocation
Convocation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center

• Participating seniors must be in Meeting Rooms 1 & 2 by 5:00 p.m. in order to prepare for the ceremony.

• Seniors wear their partner school robes for Convocation. Caps are not worn. If a student did not order a robe, he/she needs to inform Mrs. Salmeron at the front desk so we can provide one.

• Required attire for the evening ceremony

  • Gentlemen are asked to wear a collared shirt, tie, and dress pants.

  • Ladies are asked to wear a dress, skirt, or dress pants.

In the event of inclement weather, please meet in the Bellefontaine High School Auditorium by 5 p.m. The ceremony will take place in the Bellefontaine High School Gymnasium. Bellefontaine High School is located at 555 E Lake Ave, Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
