Farmers work early mornings and late nights, especially during harvest time. Our FFA Chapters wanted to make sure local farmers had a warm meal to eat during their long days.
The OHP/Indian Lake FFA Chapter hosted a Feed the Farmers event on October 18. The FFA students stopped at five local farms to deliver a tasty meal, including Mark D Ward Farms near DeGraff and Hough Farms in Lewistown.
In Champaign County, our OHP/Graham FFA Chapter students hosted their Feed the Farmers event on Oct. 20 and delivered to several farms around the county.
