Three students from Ohio Hi-Point Career Center recently showcased their skills and dedication at the HOSA National Leadership Conference, held from June 26-29, 2024.

Ishita Dhopavkar, an Allied Health and Nursing student from the OHP/Marysville Early College program, achieved a Top 10 finish in the Human Growth & Development event, earning a spot on the stage. Angel Forester, an Allied Health and Nursing student from the OHP/Kenton program, participated in the Physical Therapy competition, and Cati Snyder, an Animal Science student from the OHP Campus program in Bellefontaine, competed in the Veterinary Science event. While Forester and Snyder did not make the stage, they had a great experience and gained valuable networking and learning opportunities.

"To compete at the national level is a big deal and a lot of practice and time goes into preparing and showcasing their skills," said Superintendent Dr. Rick Smith. "We are proud of their achievements and congratulate the students and instructors on a great showing on the national level."
