Matthew Smith, an Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Multimedia Marketing student from Riverside High School, advanced to the BPA National Leadership Conference after competing at the BPA Ohio Leadership Conference last week.
Smith placed first in Prepared Speech with his "S.N.A.P Out of It" presentation, which focused on addressing distractions to increase productivity.
Kiarra Coats (Benjamin Logan) also made the podium, placing third in Presentation Management.
Madison Aldo (Bellefontaine) and Korwin Kurtz (Upper Scioto Valley) placed in the top 10 in Digital Media Production and Graphic Design and Promotion, respectively.
Smith will compete at the National BPA Leadership Conference in Dallas, TX in May.
