In February, the staff and students at the Ohio Hi-Point Bellefontaine Main Campus held a Pennies for Patients drive to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
The collection ran for three days as a competition among the 15 career program labs. Students and staff brought in pennies and other change to donate to the LLS. Together, the student body raised $855. The winning career program was Automotive Academy, taught by Mr. Bob Alig, for collecting $486.34.
The Automotive Academy students received the first annual traveling LLS trophy and a pizza party.
