Seniors from the Graphic Media Arts (GMA) program at Ohio Hi-Point recently had an exciting opportunity to visit Roto, a leading exhibit design and fabrication company. The students actively participated in the design process for an upcoming exhibit at the Ohio Expo Center, providing feedback on layouts, user interfaces, and exhibit arrangement.

In addition to contributing their ideas, the students explored various interactive exhibits, including coding their own sea creatures for a virtual aquarium and using an interactive drawing screen to recreate aerial landscape shots used in mapmaking and surveying.

The visit also included a tour of Roto’s entire facility, where students learned about the company’s design process from concept generation to digital design, customer approval, engineering, and installation. The day offered valuable real-world experience and insight into potential internship opportunities at Roto Design.
