HOSA

Local students enrolled in Ohio Hi-Point programs affiliated with HOSA - Future Health Professionals recently showcased their skills at the Region 5 HOSA Competition, held on January 17 at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. Competing against peers from across the region in a variety of event categories including medical law and ethics, life support skills, nursing assisting, and physical therapy, veterinary science, and prepared speaking.

The following Ohio Hi-Point students advanced to the HOSA State Leadership Conference, where they will have the chance to compete for a spot at nationals.

Students in the OHP/Marysville Early College High School HOSA Chapter are part of the OHP/MECHS Allied Health and Nursing program.

“We’re incredibly proud of our students and the hard work they put into preparing for these contests,” said Justin Rigsby, an Ohio Hi-Point Career Tech Supervisor. “We’re excited to see them compete at the state level.”

These students will compete at the Ohio HOSA State Competition in Toledo in April.
