Nearly 50 Ohio Hi-Point Career Center students were recognized for outstanding academic achievement during a countywide ceremony held Thursday, April 10, at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center.
Students from Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, Ohio Hi-Point, and Riverside attended the event, which was sponsored by Honda and organized by the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center. Students were selected by their teachers for academic excellence in specific subjects. Breakfast was prepared and served by Ohio Hi-Point’s Culinary Arts students.
Scott Howell, superintendent of the Midwest Regional ESC, gave the welcome. Nathan Titus and Meredith Reffrey, representatives from American Honda Motor Company’s Workforce Partnerships team, delivered greetings. Cliff Core, superintendent of Bellefontaine City Schools, introduced guest speaker Josh Stolly, an attorney and partner at Thompson, Dunlap, and Heydinger, LTD.
