Welcome Back to Campus

August 1, 2022

Students and Families,

It is my pleasure to welcome you, or welcome you back, to Ohio Hi-Point Career Center for the 2022-2023 school year. We are excited for you to explore, learn, and create in our engaging classrooms and programs. As we prepare for the start of school, remember we utilize a “staggered start” schedule, which means only first year students need to attend school on Monday, August 22. All students (first-year and returning) will be on campus on Tuesday, August 23.

The enclosed information is designed to serve as a reminder about Ohio Hi-Point’s Student Orientation on Wednesday, August 10, between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. We strongly encourage you to attend at a time that best fits your schedule.

Prior to Student Orientation, ALL Students and families are asked to log in to www.ohiohipoint.com/orientatio... and complete FinalForms for OHP. Even though you may have already completed your partner school FinalForms, OHP is completely separate. Uniforms and laptops will not be distributed until FinalForms are completed. We will have people on staff to help complete FinalForms during Orientation if they are not completed prior.

Once you’ve completed the paperwork on FinalForms, during orientation, you will have the opportunity to pick up your schedule, laptop and uniform apparel items.

Ohio Hi-Point’s cafeteria provides a variety of breakfast and lunch options for students. For the 2022-2023 year, a breakfast meal is $2.00, and a lunch meal is $3.05. Enclosed are instructions to make lunch payments, as well as information on free and reduced meals. If you feel you would qualify for free or reduced meals based on income status, please complete and return the application enclosed to the high school main office.

Students are our first priority. As they embark on this exciting chapter in their lives, we believe they have tremendous promise and unlimited potential! Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting you, or seeing you again, on August 10.

 Sincerely,

Tonya Ramey
High School Director
