Students enrolled in Ohio Hi-Point's agriculture satellite program at Marysville High School recently visited Michigan State University. The group, which consists of students in OHP's Greenhouse course of the agriculture pathway, toured the university greenhouses and trial gardens.
Students learned about various types of watering, heating/cooling, and lighting for growing plants indoors. Outside, they learned how annual and perennial plant trials operate. As part of the visit, students also selected the plants they would like to grow for the FFA Chapter's spring plant sale.
Ohio Hi-Point's Greenhouse satellite course at Marysville High School is taught by Ashley Thompson.
