We're excited to celebrate five students from our OHP/MECHS Allied Health and Nursing program for earning their STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) certifications! Congratulations Isabelle Bennett, Evita Brown, Ava Elliott, Paige Hayes, and Isabella Leonard. The very next day, these future healthcare professionals spent the day at Bunsold Middle School teaching middler schoolers how to take their blood pressure. Our students have not only achieved personal milestones but are also making a positive impact on the future of healthcare.
Hayley and Kingston, two students in our Culinary program, catered a special event at the Holland Theatre last night. They did a fantastic job (and the food was delicious)! They also made a great connection with Mr. Adam Rammel, co-founder of Brewfontaine and The Syndicate, who talked to them about future career opportunities in the restaurant industry.
A big THANK YOU goes out to the Bellefontaine Rotary for their incredible generosity. Their generous donation of $300 to our Culinary Arts program will help provide valuable learning opportunities for our aspiring chefs. But that's not all! The Bellefontaine Rotary has gone above and beyond by purchasing over $200 worth of smoked turkeys - prepared by our Culinary Arts students - for families in need this holiday season.
