A big thank you to several local salon and spas that spent the morning with our Cosmetology and Spa Tech students during our first ASPIRE Beauty Fair. This event was organized by our Cos/Spa Tech instructors as an opportunity for their students to make connections with professionals as they work to secure internships and job shadowing experiences.
If you missed it, don't worry! They're hosting a second beauty fair in the spring and would love to have you. Email gshellenberger@ohiohipoint.com for more information.

While we host sophomores on campus, our current students are taking advantage of career, college, community, and work-based learning experiences off-campus. This year, we're grateful to have students volunteer and give back to our communities in a multitude of ways. Over the past few days, we've had students volunteering at Discovery Riders, Union Station, and Our Daily Bread!
REMINDER: Ohio Hi-Point is hosting Sophomore Experience Days on Friday, Nov. 17, Monday, Nov. 20 and Tuesday, Nov. 21. These visits allow sophomores from our 14 partner districts to explore campus and our career programs.
During the sophomore visits, OHP’s current students will be participating in Professional Experience Days. These days are dedicated to providing students with diverse, real-world learning experiences outside the classroom setting. During these three days, students will engage in a variety of individualized career, college, community, and work-based learning experiences off-campus.

Today, our students learned more about the Enlistment pathway of the 3Es! A huge shoutout to the military personnel who joined us to share their experiences and discuss career paths in the service. Students are exploring the 3Es - Employment, Enrollment, and Enlistment - as they think about what pathway they want to take after graduation.
